Another day, another oot performance on late night television. Similar to Jimmy Fallon last night, Hurricane Sandy also disrupted The Late Show with David Letterman. The show must go on however, and once again we had another incredible performance in an all-but-empty studio. This time singer/songwriter Andrew Bird was joined by Tift Merrit for a beautiful live rendition of “If I Needed You” off his brand spankin’ new project, Hands of Glory. I could care less what type of music you prefer to listen to, if you can’t appreciate this piece than there’s something wrong with you. Love it…
