
Seems as if it was all a calculated risk from the beginning for the sneaker/apparel giant, Jordan Brand following Dwayne Wade’s departure. Blake Griffin made the move in his 2012-13 debut for the Clippers Wednesday night sporting a pair of cobalt blue Jordans, and not without good reason. Griffin joins teammate Chris Paul in the Jordan Brand stable, which also includes such NBA stars as Carmelo Anthony, Ray Allen and Joe Johnson. Earlier this month, Nike announced that it had signed Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook to the Jordan Brand.
