For great reason am I choosing not to label this brilliance as a “music video.” This is the definition of art. Nothing new from D, as he continues to one up every drop/release leading up to his highly anticipated project, Don’t Flatter Yourself, dropping Wednesday (August 15th). I feel like most visuals today are consistenly super cliché in the fact that they don’t represent the meaning of the actual song. These types of stories related to the message are a lost art in the music industry. Huge shoutout to D himself and the man behind the lens, Jakob Owens… Mannnnnnnn, is it Wednesday yet?
